Monica Bobbi (Italy, 1978) is a jewellery student and designer.
As a child, she dreamed of traveling the world and discovering other cultures.
The desire to meet the “other” as well as to become “other” has always been the red thread connecting her life choices and it’s now strongly reflected in her artistic work.
Over the past 16 years China, India, Nepal, Vietnam and the Democratic Republic of Congo have been her home and she has collaborated with other artists and craftsmen in different cultural and artistic projects.
Currently she is studying jewellery design at the Institute Jeanne Touissant Parure & Bijouterie in Brussels, Belgium.
She likes to be called by her Chinese name 莫 Mo and MoGuo Design, her brand, literally means The Land of Mo’s Design.
